Ocean Systems Laboratory, located on St. Croix and St. Thomas, is EPA-Certified to providing drinking
water testing services for designated Public Water Suppliers. We send local government-certified water
samplers to collect the samples and deliver the sample to the laboratory where they are tested and the
results are provided to the government for compliance with federal regulations.
The laboratory is also qualified to provide testing of Wastewater Treatment Plants including BOD5, TSS
and Fecal Coliform. Our testing complies with local government regulations for TPDES requirements.
We also perform residential water quality testing in our St. Croix lab. Please refer to the following

- Sample collected with a report delivered to DPNR
Fecal Coliform (M-FC media) with 2 dilutions, delivered to the lab: $35.00
Enterococci (mE1 media) with 2 dilutions, delivered to the lab: $45.00
Fecal Coliform: MPN for sewage treatment discharge, delivered to the lab: $75.00
BOD5 for sewage treatment influent and/or effluent, delivered to the lab: $85.00 each
Total Suspended Solids (TSS) for sewage treatment plants, delivered to the lab: $45.00
Sludge Analysis including % moisture for disposal compliance, delivered to the lab: $150.00 delivered
